I had hoped morning would feel cooler for our late July 6 month milestone / family session together. Well there was no breeze, it was humid and WARM. But you know what?? Still worth it, I love these photos! We knew we wanted some portraits with Kansas City’s beautiful skyline. Grabbed a couple, and then moved to the shade and stripped the baby down to his diaper to help keep him cool. Plus extra baby skin is a win, is it not?!? I loved getting to update family photos for these guys (you can see their in-home newborn session here: https://www.alissabird.com/botanical-newborn-session-in-home-olathe-ks/) right at Zachary’s 6 month mark. 6 months is a really fun age to document. You might have heard of 6 month milestone sessions or ‘sitter sessions’, and if you’re interested in having photos of your baby around this time I’d love to hear from you!! 🙂
