Baby Elly was born mid November. With holidays and Covid, Betsy & Ben wanted to wait a bit before having professional photos done of their first baby girl. Elly was one day shy of 10 weeks when we did these photos and she is DARLING. I love that we were able to get both happy & alert portraits AND some sweet sleeping shots. I know many photographers prefer to do newborn photos as soon as possible after birth. And yes, that means they are all the more tiny and sleepy. BUT, I have loved photographing babies that are a little older too!! It’s up to you as parents what stage you prefer your baby to be photographed at, and when you’re comfortable doing a session after your baby arrives. I’m here for alllll the babies!
